Which One?

The rain manages to find its way around the city of New York. Without a care in the world, the clouds burst into tears, departing from the heavens, and the world around doesn’t seem to care either. Treating the rain like a blanket, the residents of Gotham wrap their lives around it.
The streets of Delhi would have flooded with muddy water if it rained there as it does in New York, just like my heart does with longing for my family’s affection every time it rains in New York, that is, almost every day.

It’s the pink of the cherry blossom trees that ask the clouds to help them turn green as spring blossoms its way into summer. Impatiently, I await for the blue summer skies to take over New York while the subtropics of Delhi seem to have long parted their way with winter. The trees have turned green, but winter still has its claws deep in New York.

‘I want to go back home’, I complain every day.
Which one?’ I continue to ask myself.
